After yesterday’s short visit to Videy island EU-168, Col MM0NDX and Dave EI9FBB left for Westman islands EU-071 early this morning. A long road trip followed by a ferry crossing ensured we landed in good time.
The weather was fairly miserable with temps of about 6c, low cloud and mist.
Soon after set-up winds picked up and snapped a fibre pole. Nonetheless we were qrv soon after.
Radio conditions have not been that good. Plenty EU but nothing far away such as VK or ZL.
We’re active until 12pm local tomorrow propagation permitting. Some images below of TF/EI9FBB and TF/MM0NDX activity from EU071.

Après une courte visite d’hier à l’île Videy UE-168, Col MM0NDX et Dave EI9FBB gauche pour les îles Westman UE-071 tôt ce matin. Un long voyage de route suivie d’une traversée en ferry assuré nous avons atterri en temps utile.
Le temps était assez misérable avec des températures d’environ 6c, les nuages bas et le brouillard.
Peu après les vents set-up ramassés et mis fin à une perche de fibre. Néanmoins, nous étions QRV peu après.
conditions de radio ont pas été aussi bonne. Beaucoup UE mais rien loin, comme VK ou ZL.
Nous sommes actifs jusqu’à 24:00 propagation de demain locale le permet. Quelques images ci-dessous du TF/EI9FBB et l’activité TF/MM0NDX de EU071.
**excuses Col MM0NDX pour les temps d’arrêt plus tôt sur le site DX-World aujourd’hui. Cela a été un problème causé par nos hôtes.

DX-World’s Col MM0NDX (sorry for limited updates on website recently) and Dave EI9FBB are currently in Iceland.
Today they operated from a rather windswept Videy island EU-168. Here’s a few images of our activity.
Tomorrow they head over to the Westman islands EU-071 staying overnight with hopes of working difficult to reach areas from this iota.
