NEWS UPDATE – Today, 12th April, the Arctic expedition “Great Northern Route 2016″ headed from Khatanga towards the Laptev Sea with plans to travel east along the coast of Yakutia to Chukotka.

At this stage the call sign R3CA/0 will be used. Along the expedition route will be the activation of several IOTA groups of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) — AS-152, AS-082, AS-163, AS-029, AS-164, AS-070 and further across Chukotka (depending on ice conditions). You watch the track here.

The radio operator of the expedition is Valery, RA9J, and works on frequency 14130 kHz, and from the islands on 14260 (+5 UP). In Tiksi, on April 18th, Yuri Zaruba UA9OBA will deliver IOTA/RRC flags, power amplifier and other accessories and plans to join the expedition.

NOUVELLES MISE À JOUR – – Aujourd’hui, le 12 Avril, l’expédition arctique « Grande Route du Nord 2016» dirigée de Khatanga vers la mer de Laptev avec des plans pour voyager à l’est le long de la côte de Yakoutie à Chukotka.

A ce stade, signer l’appel R3CA / 0 sera utilisé. Le long de la route de l’expédition sera l’activation de plusieurs groupes IOTA de la République de Sakha (Yakoutie) – AS-152, AS-082, AS-163, AS-029, AS-164, AS-070 et en outre dans la Tchoukotka (selon les conditions de glace). Vous regardez la piste ICI.

L’opérateur radio de l’expédition est Valery, RA9J, et fonctionne sur la fréquence 14130 kHz, et des îles sur 14260 (5 UP). En Tiksi, le 18 Avril, Yuri Zaruba UA9OBA livrera IOTA / drapeaux RRC, amplificateur de puissance et d’autres accessoires et plans pour rejoindre l’expédition

QRT – 105,000 QSOs reached

April 10 @ 0600Z – We have planned dismantling antennas and stations. The organisation is quite difficult to match with the high tide, we have only short windows, and wind/waves makes things difficult. We had to QRX few hours this afternoon, and we might also take breaks tomorrow to put bigger antennas down and load/unload the zodiac.

Our plan is to have a full setup until tomorrow morning (except 6m and second inband antenna for 10m). Then the night after we will be QRV only 10m to 40m until 00:00z Monday. It things goes well we should leave this island Monday in the afternoon.

We still have good rates on all bands, and we should soon reach the 100 000 QSOs mark, what a great news ! We will focus on our objectives until the very end.

L’organisation est très difficile de faire correspondre avec la marée haute, nous avons des fenêtres que de courte durée, et le vent / vagues rend les choses difficiles. Nous avons dû QRX quelques heures cet après-midi, et nous pourrions aussi prendre des pauses demain pour mettre plus grandes antennes vers le bas et de chargement / déchargement du zodiaque

Notre plan est d’avoir une installation complète jusqu’à demain matin (sauf 6m et seconde antenne intrabande pour 10m). Puis la nuit après que nous serons QRV seulement 10m à 40m jusqu’à 00: 00Z lundi. Il va bien les choses que nous devrions laisser cette île lundi après-midi.

Nous avons encore de bons taux sur toutes les bandes, et nous devrions bientôt atteindre la marque de 100 000 QSOs, quelle bonnes nouvelles! Nous allons nous concentrer sur nos objectifs jusqu’à la fin.

NEWS UPDATE – “Bad weather has begun to set in, and is likely to be here for a while. With our departure coming soon, this means that teardown is beginning. We will try to stay on the air as long as possible, but may have a reduced number of stations on the air, and a reduced complement of antennas to use. Watch DXA to see where our stations are operating.

We will post updates as they become available, but everyone is busy here, either working the pileups or packing things up. Please listen to operator instructions—if they are calling for all-time new ones and you have us in the log, please stand by.

– ‘Le mauvais temps a commencé à installer, et est susceptible d’être ici pendant un certain temps. Avec notre départ à venir, cela signifie que le démontage commence. Bill, G0VDE recently got in touch to announce his upcoming DXpedition to St Helena:

St-Helena-Island-2-

I am planning to go to St Helena on the first commercial flights, expected to be on 22nd May 2016 and returning on 6th June.(The only problem is that the new Airport is not yet certified – this is expected to be in mid-April. If this does not happen in time I will have to delay my visit)

I am staying in self-catering accommodation a couple of miles from Jamestown, on a plateau above the town with a good take-off to the W, N and E. The radios I am planning to take are FT 991 and TS 2000, with a vertical antenna and a variety of wires, dipoles and fibreglass supports.

I have setup a website and plan to run an on-line log at http://www.sthelenadx.com – My callsign should be ZD7VDE.

Online log will be via Club Log and QSLs via OQRS. Many thanks and please contact me if you need more information.

Bill, G0VDE récemment entré en contact pour annoncer sa prochaine DXpedition à Sainte-Hélène:

Je prévois d’aller à Sainte-Hélène sur les premiers vols commerciaux, qui devrait être le 22 mai 2016 et le retour le 6 Juin (Le seul problème est que le nouvel aéroport est pas encore certifié -. Ce devrait être à la mi-Avril . Si cela ne se produit pas dans le temps je vais devoir retarder ma visite)

Je séjournant dans un hébergement indépendant à quelques miles de Jamestown, sur un plateau au-dessus de la ville avec un bon décollage à l’W, N et E. Les radios je prévois de prendre sont FT 991 et TS 2000, avec une antenne verticale et une variété de fils, les dipôles et les supports en fibres de verre

Je dois installer un site Web et l’intention de lancer un journal en ligne à http://www.sthelenadx.com – Mon callsign devrait être ZD7VDE.

Interested reader, Radi F6GNZ, recently contacted DX-World saying he had asked Rafael YV5RED, Founder Member of the 4M5DX GROUP if there were any ongoing plans for the next Aves Island DXpedition. Below we show the reply.

It is very difficult because there are many legal & official permissions needed to do it: Venezuelan Army, CONATEL, MINEA, MRE. Furthermore, “RCV-ARV” plans to do it, but without permissions from official authorities it will be an illegal operation.

All in all, not very promising at the moment.

NOUVEAU RETARD / ANNULÉE – qui sait vraiment?

Le lecteur intéressé, Radi F6GNZ, a récemment contacté DX-World en disant qu’il avait demandé à Rafael YV5RED, membre fondateur du GROUPE 4M5DX s’il y avait des plans en cours pour la prochaine DXpedition île Aves. Ci-dessous, nous montrons la réponse.

Il est très difficile car il y a beaucoup d’autorisations officielles juridiques nécessaires pour le faire: Venezuela armée, CONATEL, MINEA, EMR. En outre, ‘RCV-ARV’ prévoit de le faire, mais sans les autorisations des autorités officielles, il sera une opération illégale.

Dans l’ensemble, pas très prometteur pour le moment.
