VU2UR Manohar Arasu<\/strong> (82 yrs old) was a Life member of Amateur Radio Society of India (ARSI) and was the Frequency Monitor for several years filing intrusion reports with
\nthe IARU-R3 representing ARSI. He was a well known Amateur radio enthusiast with around 46 years of experience (has been on the air since 1967). VU2UR<\/strong> has won many certificates
\n for being No 1 in India and some for being No 1 in the continent. All in all, he has won more then 1200 certificates and plaques included and recognition from organizations across the
\nglobe.\"\"<\/p>\n

VU2UR<\/strong> did join the 3rd<\/sup> WAP Antarctic Activity Week<\/strong> (2006) with his special callsign AT3ANT WAP-\u00d821<\/strong>. We keep a great recall of
\nhim.<\/p>\n

Retired from the Indian Railways in 1997, VU2UR<\/strong> had settled down in the outskirts of Bangalore City, in Kengeri Satellite Town.<\/p>\n
