Bill, G0VDE recently got in touch to announce his upcoming DXpedition to St Helena:<\/p>\n

I am planning to go to St Helena on the first commercial flights, expected to be on 22nd May 2016 and returning on 6th June.(The only problem is that the new Airport is not yet certified – this is expected to be in mid-April. If this does not happen in time I will have to delay my visit)<\/p>\n

I am staying in self-catering accommodation a couple of miles from Jamestown, on a plateau above the town with a good take-off to the W, N and E. The radios I am planning to take are FT 991 and TS 2000, with a vertical antenna and a variety of wires, dipoles and fibreglass supports.<\/p>\n

I have setup a website and plan to run an on-line log at http:\/\/www.sthelenadx.com<\/a> – My callsign should be ZD7VDE.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Online log will be via Club Log and QSLs via OQRS. Many thanks and please contact me if you need more information.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Je pr\u00e9vois d’aller \u00e0 Sainte-H\u00e9l\u00e8ne sur les premiers vols commerciaux, qui devrait \u00eatre le 22 mai 2016 et le retour le 6 Juin (Le seul probl\u00e8me est que le nouvel a\u00e9roport est pas encore certifi\u00e9 -. Ce devrait \u00eatre \u00e0 la mi-Avril . Si cela ne se produit pas dans le temps je vais devoir retarder ma visite)<\/p>\n

Je s\u00e9journant dans un h\u00e9bergement ind\u00e9pendant \u00e0 quelques miles de Jamestown, sur un plateau au-dessus de la ville avec un bon d\u00e9collage \u00e0 l’W, N et E.
