Flights, hire car and &#8216;summer house&#8217; booked on the east of the islands near the sea and not too many mountains blocking signals to the west. Finding a good &#8216;all round&#8217; location was a challenge as the islands have some steep and high mountains.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This a single operator dxpedition and I plan to be active on HF bands including 160m (but not 60m). Operation will be CW and SSB using a KX3 and 200W amplifier with Spiderpole and wire antennas.
