I decided that the Foundation license would be too limiting for a remote area, so I went straight to the Standard license (100W).<\/p>\n<p>I have purchased a FT DX1200 which is still 6,000kms away.<\/p>\n<p>Still working out the QSL thing, international mail from here is $2.90 AUD and mail can take a while.
