I was living and working at a radio station near Algier. I was in touch with the members of ARA to see if we can arrange a meeting. The security at radio station was very careful and questioned a lot: where am I going, when do I come back, whom am I with (they took copies of their passports, car registration) \u2026and so on. Afif (ARA Presient) was very kind and we had some nice talks. I got a tour thru Algier and I can say that I would have not seen anything of the country if I wasn\u2019t in touch with ARA. They could have applied for my own license but my visit was short notice. Anyway, I operated a bit at 7X2ARA.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The members there are serious with their activities\u2026 from IOTAs, lighthouses and so on. They educate new members, make training and give lectures. If ARA goes down, I am sure that a lot of activities from 7X will not happen anymore the way they are. It might \u201cjust\u201d start with the good working QSL bureau.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I hope that some more donations will come in order to help ARA. Afif (ARA Presient) \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s gentil et nous avons eu quelques belles discussions. J&rsquo;ai eu une visite \u00e0 travers Alger et je peux dire que je n&rsquo;aurais pas vu quoi que ce soit du pays si je n&rsquo;\u00e9tais pas en contact avec ARA. Ils auraient pu demander ma propre licence, mais ma visite a \u00e9t\u00e9 un pr\u00e9avis court. Quoi qu&rsquo;il en soit, j&rsquo;ai op\u00e9r\u00e9 un peu \u00e0 7X2ARA.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Les membres sont s\u00e9rieux avec leurs activit\u00e9s &#8230; des IOTA, des phares et ainsi de suite. Ils \u00e9duquent de nouveaux membres, font de la formation et donnent des conf\u00e9rences. Si ARA tombe, je suis s\u00fbr que beaucoup d&rsquo;activit\u00e9s de 7X ne se produiront plus comme elles sont. Il pourrait &lsquo;juste&rsquo; commencer avec le bon bureau de travail QSL.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>J&rsquo;esp\u00e8re que d&rsquo;autres dons viendront pour aider ARA.
