After a nice lunch, went about exploring our resort to scout for good locations for antenna&#8230;This is what we have come up with.<\/p>\n<p>The best is a 40m vertical on 12m spider pole right at the beach facing west. There is a separate 15m vertical also at the beach. There are two verticals at 45 feet on top of the resort building for 20 and 17m.<\/p>\n<p>We have a limited run of coax cables, so have decided to have 2 operating locations (one from the room and other in a hut at the beach. This means we have to carry all gear (radio amplifier, laptop and cables) if we have to QSY.<\/p>\n<p>The internet is very poor and this message is being sent using my friends connection. It took almost 15 minutes to browse a few pages.<\/p>\n<p>The first log upload has happened to Club Log now and I request everyone to check the same to ensure we don&#8217;t have dupes in the log. Please remember there are many waiting for VU7 as an ATNO.<\/p>\n<p>I would like to thank all for a very disciplined operation which makes it very easy at the business end (we had a few stubborn people who didn&rsquo;t like a geo-focus call). Please be patient and I am sure this holiday has transformed more into a DXpedition now and we will spend most of our time dishing out QSOs.<\/p>\n<p>If we miss some, please bear with us, we have limited resources. Il ya une verticale s\u00e9par\u00e9e de 15 m \u00e9galement \u00e0 la plage. Il ya deux verticales \u00e0 45 pieds au-dessus du b\u00e2timent de la station pour 20 et 17m.<\/p>\n<p>Nous disposons d&rsquo;une s\u00e9rie limit\u00e9e de c\u00e2bles coaxiaux, nous avons donc d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de disposer de 2 emplacements d&rsquo;exploitation (un \u00e0 partir de la chambre et d&rsquo;autres dans une cabane \u00e0 la plage), ce qui signifie que nous devons transporter tous les \u00e9quipements (amplificateur radio, ordinateur portable et c\u00e2bles) \u00c0 QSY.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;Internet est tr\u00e8s pauvre et ce message est envoy\u00e9 en utilisant la connexion de mes amis.
