All bands are full of noise around 6pm till morning.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This is my 4th visit to Tuvalu and 1st time to stay at Vaiaku Lagi Hotel where many hams have enjoyed in the past.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>BUT I do NOT recommend this QTH any more to those who plan to operate in T2. A view from the hotel is not the same as T2GM&#8217;s QSL card. They made huge ground in front of hotel (toward lagoon) with white sand. It is owned and managed by T2 government.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>There are many lamps on the ground. When they are ON around 6pm, all bands through 160m to 10m become full of S9+ noise in USB mode. (S7 in CW mode).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Because of above reasons, we have GIVEN UP to put up 80m and 160m antenna. We feel very sorry for those who have expected T2 on the bands.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>August 1, 2016<\/strong> &#8211; Nob, JF2MBF and Ken, JA2FJP will be active from Funafuti, Tuvalu as <strong>T2J<\/strong> between October 4-10, 2016. QRV on 160-10 CW, SSB &amp; RTTY. Une vue de l&rsquo;h\u00f4tel est pas la m\u00eame que la carte QSL de T2GM. Ils ont fait grand terrain en face de l&rsquo;h\u00f4tel (vers le lagon) avec du sable blanc. Il est d\u00e9tenu et g\u00e9r\u00e9 par le gouvernement T2.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Il y a beaucoup de lampes sur le terrain. Quand ils sont autour de 18 heures, toutes les bandes par le biais de 160m \u00e0 10m sont pleins de bruit de S9+ en mode USB. (S7 en mode CW).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Pour des raisons ci-dessus, nous avons renonc\u00e9 \u00e0 mettre en place l&rsquo;antenne 80m 160m.
