More news on my planned DXped to St Helena ZD7. The Airport has received its ‘certification’ from ASSI which means it meets appropriate International standards regarding security, safety, processing of passengers etc. This does not mean the wind shear issue has been resolved (which is an operational readiness matter) but it is another step in the process to being able to fly to ZD7.<\/p>\n

Atlantic Star Airlines have announced their flights for October and those are the dates I am now aiming for, as it is fervently hoped the airport is declared open before then.
\nPlease therefore can you re-announce my DXped with the dates 18th to 30th October 2016.<\/p>\n

I will continue to keep you updated with the situation.<\/p>\n

L’a\u00e9roport a re\u00e7u sa \u00abcertification\u00bb de ASSI qui signifie qu’il r\u00e9pond aux normes internationales appropri\u00e9es en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, le traitement des passagers, etc. Cela ne signifie pas la question de cisaillement du vent a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9solu (ce qui est une question de pr\u00e9paration op\u00e9rationnelle), mais il est un autre \u00e9tape dans le processus d’\u00eatre en mesure de voler \u00e0 ZD7.<\/p>\n
