This morning, I had to cancel a DXpedition. It was one of the hardest decisions of my life. It was not for lack of permission, it was not for lack of a team and equipment willing to go.<\/p>\n

The prospect of a P5 activation brings out the worst in this hobby. The posers, the nuts, the ill-informed and the opinionated. But in the end, it mostly came down to a surprising lack of support and lack of funding from some of the world\u2019s paramount DX foundations when asked to fund grants to the world\u2019s #1 Most Wanted Entity.<\/p>\n

La perspective d’une activation de P5 fait ressortir le pire dans ce passe-temps. Les frimeurs, les \u00e9crous, les mauvais inform\u00e9s et opini\u00e2tre. Mais \u00e0 la fin, il est venu la plupart du temps \u00e0 un manque surprenant de soutien et le manque de financement de certaines des fondations DX primordiales du monde lorsqu’on lui a demand\u00e9 pour financer des subventions dans le monde de<\/p>\n
