NEWS UPDATE<\/strong> – Today, 12th April, the Arctic expedition “Great Northern Route 2016″ headed from Khatanga towards the Laptev Sea with plans to travel east along the coast of Yakutia to Chukotka.<\/p>\n

At this stage the call sign R3CA\/0<\/strong> will be used. Along the expedition route will be the activation of several IOTA groups of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) — AS-152, AS-082, AS-163, AS-029, AS-164, AS-070 and further across Chukotka (depending on ice conditions). You watch the track here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The radio operator of the expedition is Valery, RA9J, and works on frequency 14130 kHz, and from the islands on 14260 (+5 UP). In Tiksi, on April 18th, Yuri Zaruba UA9OBA will deliver IOTA\/RRC flags, power amplifier and other accessories and plans to join the expedition.<\/p>\n
